Social competence in the childhood: an urgent challenge


One of the most important achievements of the human development is the acquisition of the social skills, that fundamentally takes place in the first years of life and that allows to the human beings keep effective and appropriate interactions with his equal along all life (Odom, McConnell & Brown, 2008).

The purpose of the congress is to know and spread the experiences headed to promote the interaction between equal of the children with disorders of the development in the school and familiar context, from practices based in evidences and in the experience contrasted of schools and families.
